Closing your account
We understand that there could be various reasons why you might choose to discontinue using our services. In our commitment to ensuring a transparent and user-friendly experience, this guide is designed to provide you with a clear and straightforward path for account deletion.
Before proceeding, we want you to know that your decision matters to us, and we value the time you've spent as part of our community. Deleting your account is a significant step that will remove your access to all the services and features associated with it. It's important to consider the implications of this action, as it is typically irreversible.
Everyday users
There are two ways as you can delete your account for the Nourish App listed below. If you have any issues or need further support please contact us at hello@noruishapp.co.nz
In app
Downgrading your account in app is straight forward. simply go into the Profile Section then click Account and Subscriptions. At the bottom of this screen you will see 'Delete Account'. Please remember this process is irreversable.
On the web
Firstly you will need to log into My Nourish App. In the profile section you see the option to delete your account at the bottom.

Health Professionals
Before proceeding with the deletion of your Health Professional account, we urge you to consider the extensive implications of this action. Please take a moment to review the information provided below to fully understand the consequences of this decision.
Non-admin account
A non admin account is simple to delete. The only consideration is that all clients you are currently supporting once your account is deleted will be moved to unsupported and removed from any challenge. A warning will be raised beforw you can continue.
To delete your account login to My Nourish App and go to the profile section. At the bottom of the page you will find the delete account button.
Admin account
An admin account is more complex to delete. This depends on whether you have additional staff and if you are currently supporting clients.
If you have additional staff, you are presented with two options. Firstly, you can assign a new account owner who will assume control of the account, including billing responsibilities. Alternatively, you can choose to delete the account along with all associated staff.
Prior to proceeding, you will have the opportunity to reassign your clients to another health professional. Alternatively, you may opt not to reassign clients and instead remove them entirely from the group.
To delete your account login to My Nourish App and go to the profile section. At the bottom of the page you will find the delete account button.
